Why does the Company tell me I can't join the 401k?

Because the employees that you call for employee benefits are misinformed....you CAN join the Florida Multi Employer 401k Plan. You can get information by calling one of the plan administrators at 407- 896-7271.

Does an approved leave count towards average hours worked to maintain full time status?

NO, if you have an approved leave of any type it will not be factored into the calculation and will not count against you. |

Find a steward and file a grievance. Be sure to print a copy of your schedule for the steward and fill out the Grievance Info Form (see below). |

All new members must pay an Initiation Fee of $10.00 and Building Fund Assesment of $60.00.Full Time Dues are based on your hourly rate: $11.00 and under pay 2 times their hourly rate per month rounded to the nearest dollar, $11.01 and above pay 2 and a 1/2 times their hourly rate per month rounded to the nearest dollar (i.e. if you make $10.00 an hour then your dues would be $20.00 per month). CR Dues are $10.00 a month.
